How TXJRAC handles information you share through this website.

Last updated: October 29, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the Texas J Regional Advisory Council (“TXJRAC,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you visit www.texasjrac.org (the “Site”). TXJRAC is the Regional Advisory Council for Texas Trauma Service Area J. The Site is informational: it does not offer accounts, sell anything or collect payments.
Information we collect
Information you send us
If you use the contact form, email or call us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your name, organization, email address, phone number and message. If you return a TXJRAC form (for example, the Concern Form, an application or an expense report), we receive the information you enter on it.
Please do not send protected health information (PHI) or other patient-identifying details through the contact form or by email. If a concern involves patient care, describe it without patient identifiers and the Executive Director will follow up on how to share details appropriately.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our web server and our network provider automatically record standard technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested, the referring page and the date and time. This information is used to operate, secure and troubleshoot the Site. The Site does not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell or rent personal information.
How we use information
- To respond to your questions, concerns and requests
- To carry out TXJRAC’s work as a Regional Advisory Council, including processing forms, applications and performance improvement submissions
- To keep the Site secure, working and up to date
- To comply with legal obligations
Third-party services
Some features of the Site are provided by other companies, which have their own privacy policies:
- Contact form: the form on our Contact page is provided by EmailMeForm, which processes and delivers your submission to us.
- Documents and folders: many documents are stored in Dropbox shared folders.
- Performance improvement submissions: PI forms are hosted on SurveyMonkey, and cardiac and stroke data links to the Texas Resuscitation Data Collaborative (texasrdc.org).
- Training videos: neonatal training videos are hosted on SimCapture.
- Hosting and security: the Site is hosted by Mediajaw and may be delivered through Cloudflare, which helps protect the Site and may set a strictly necessary security cookie.
When you follow a link to another website, such as a state agency, partner organization or campaign site, that website’s own privacy practices apply.
Sharing
We share information only as needed to respond to you and carry out TXJRAC’s work. For example, a Concern Form is shared with the other entity involved so it can respond, and may be shared with outside experts if their expertise is required to resolve the issue. We may also disclose information if required by law.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for healthcare professionals, EMS providers and the public. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security and retention
We use reasonable measures to protect information, but no website or email transmission is completely secure. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above or as required by law or TXJRAC’s records policies.
Your choices
You may contact us to ask what information we hold about you, or to ask that we correct or delete it, subject to any legal or record-keeping requirements.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed.
