The Shattered Dreams program provided vivid images of the consequences of drunk driving and made a lasting impression on these kids.

Participants included Martin County EMS, Martin County Hospital District, the Stanton Police Department, the Martin County Sheriff's Office, the Stanton High School Student Council, MCH Carestar, Texas "J" RAC, and many parents and residents of Martin County.

Day 1 included the crash and a retreat for the students. Day 2 wrapped up the program with an assembly featuring guest speaker Charles Hodges from Stop DWI, Inc.

Shattered Dreams involves local teens and residents in a reenactment of a drunk driving accident in order to increase awareness of the dangers of drunk driving.
